Heavenly Adventure

PopTart and Bean’s Heavenly Adventure

PopTart and Bean were skipping around the backyard, pretending to hop from cloud to cloud. The warm sun shone on their faces, and their giggles floated on the breeze. Suddenly, PopTart stopped mid-hop and plopped down in the soft grass. She stared up at the sky, her eyes full of wonder.

Bean tilted her head. “What’s wrong, PopTart? You look like you’re thinking something big again.”

PopTart nodded slowly. “I was just wondering… Bean, is Heaven real? How can we know for sure?”

Bean sat down next to her, her face serious now too. “Of course Heaven is real! Mom and Dad say so, and so does the Bible. But… how do we know?”

PopTart picked a dandelion and twirled it between her fingers. “That’s what I’ve been thinking about. We can’t see Heaven right now, but the Bible talks about it a lot. It says it’s a place God made for us, where there’s no more sadness or pain.”

“Yeah,” Bean said, brightening. “And there are streets of gold, and God Himself lives there!”

“But what if it’s just a story?” PopTart asked, her voice soft.

Bean frowned, her forehead wrinkling in thought. “Well… remember how we can’t see the wind, but we can feel it and see what it does? Maybe Heaven’s like that. We can’t see it yet, but we know it’s real because of what God tells us in the Bible—and because Jesus promised it’s real.”

PopTart’s eyes lit up. “That’s right! Jesus said He was going to prepare a place for us in Heaven. And Jesus never lies!”

“And remember,” Bean added, “Mom says Heaven isn’t just a place far away—it’s where God is. So if God is with us here on Earth, it’s like we’re already connected to Heaven.”

PopTart smiled, her excitement growing. “And think about all the things God has already made—like the stars, the oceans, the mountains. If He made all of this, just imagine how amazing Heaven must be!”

Bean giggled. “I bet it’s way more fun than anything we can think of. I hope there are big fluffy clouds to bounce on!”

PopTart laughed. “And I want to run through fields of flowers that never die!”

The sisters sat quietly for a moment, imagining all the wonderful things Heaven might be like. Then PopTart said, “You know what, Bean? I think God gives us little hints of Heaven right here on Earth—like when we feel really happy, or when we see something beautiful, like a rainbow or a sunset.”

“Or when we love each other,” Bean added with a grin. “That’s like a little piece of Heaven, too.”

PopTart nodded. “Yeah. And every time we read the Bible, it’s like God is giving us a glimpse of what’s waiting for us. Heaven is real because God said so, and God always keeps His promises.”

Bean leaned back in the grass, looking up at the sky. “You’re right, PopTart. I don’t have to see Heaven to believe it. I can feel it in my heart.”

PopTart smiled and took her sister’s hand. “Me too. And one day, we’ll see it with our own eyes. But for now, let’s keep learning about God and His promises.”

The two sisters lay there for a while, staring up at the clouds and dreaming about their future home. It wasn’t long before their giggles returned, and they were back to hopping from cloud to cloud, their hearts full of faith and excitement for their next Bible adventure.
